It's difficult to overstate how alienating the current social dictate to identify as your disorder can be, when your disorder is something you hate that has come close to ruining and ending your life

One of my kids is having difficulties at school, and my husband became focused on possible future negative consequences. I suggested to him that he treat our child 'like a person, not a problem'. It's definitely helped.

This is a very good take on harmful overthinking. I dare say this applies to a very harmful, arguably dangerous, aspect of social media and it’s contagions.

Thank you. I ruminate too much. For me, doing some physical activity or doing something kind for someone else helps me to get "unstuck" from my negative thoughts.

Same! I feel like I've gotten the ball rolling after a year+ of "languishing."

For me it all started with exercise. It made other good habits easier to adopt.
