So well said, Dr. B! Thank you! We are social beings, interdependent upon each other. Human contact is vital to our well being. If we just put some effort into respecting each and every individual and seeing them as a person, regardless of whether we agree with their views, we would have a more civil society. Every person has a story and we are enriched by listening to them and broadening our perspective.

Exactly! Happiness is not a solo enterprise, and well-being doesn’t occur in a vacuum. We are social creatures and our wellbeing—both physical and mental—depends on our social relationships.

I could say that this is an obvious but timely reminder that we are better together than alone. But what you have written is more than that.... Too many people ( not just Millennials) grow up being ignored or shoved in front of a screen by lazy, selfish and ignorant parents. So a lot of people are not taught to communicate, or taught to communicate badly.....

Maybe in the school of the future we can go back to some basics!

I am so lucky in my profession to have constant conversations with my clients pretty much about everything , and learning so much from it and most of all I miss seeing you Samantha and getting at times your great advice ♥️
